The Minnesota Freedom Band is pleased to take part in the BandWidth Music Festival. Enjoy an afternoon listening to marches, concert band classics, pop, Broadway, and jazz music performed by some of the top volunteer-based ensembles in Minnesota. This festival is part of Sundays at Landmark and is produced in partnership with the Lex-Ham Community Band.

Visit our booth (#254) at the Twin Cities Pride Festival - Minnesota’s second largest festival and the largest FREE Pride festival. Highlighting the best in LGBTQIA+ entertainment on 4 stages, featuring over 650 vendors, including LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC community resources, artists, and businesses.

TWIN CITIES PRIDE PARADE

The parade starts at 3rd & Hennepin and proceeds down Hennepin to Spruce.
The Minnesota Freedom Band was started in 1982 by a handful of people who attended the Pride parade that year. They thought that what the parade really needed was a marching band! So they got together and made it happen!

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY

Lakewood Cemetery presents a solemn remembrance to the departed heroes who served our Country with this stirring Memorial Day Tribute to Veterans, held on the beautiful grounds of Lakewood Cemetery in South Minneapolis. The Concert Band is honored to be invited back to be a part of this moving observance.

GOLDEN VALLEY PRIDE FESTIVAL

The Golden Valley Pride Festival is a celebration of LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, friends, and allies from Golden Valley, surrounding Western Metro communities, and all over the Metropolitan area. Features food trucks and vendors, activities for the whole amily, musical and artistic performances, and a beverage garden.
