Membership Dues
The Minnesota Freedom Band is supported in part by member dues. Membership is voluntary and open to all interested and qualified adult musicians. Auditions are not required to participate in the Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble. Members who wish to perform with Freedom Jazz are subject to audition.
Annual Dues (September through June)
Symphonic Band only dues: $120
Wind Ensemble only dues: $120
Freedom Jazz only dues: $120
Combined dues for members who play in two or more bands: $200

(Discount reflects shared expenses among the organization as a whole)

As a convenience, MFB offers a pay-per-semester payment plan.
Fall Dues
September through December dues: $40
Spring Dues
January through June dues: $80
MFB does not turn away members because of an inability to pay dues. If you need to make other payment arrangements or would like to request a full or partial scholarship, please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@minnesotafreedomband.org.
